I am in Career 2.0 and loving every minute. I am a retired law enforcement officer passionate about all things aviation. Aviation has been a dream since childhood, and I am finally able to fulfill that now. I am the owner, instructor, and ferry pilot for Clear To Land Aviation. Getting to teach others to fly is something I very much enjoy.
Rachel Siegel, CFI
I was that kid at the airport fence who wouldn’t stop talking about planes… Now I get paid to do it for a living! I’m a commercial pilot, CFI/AGI/IGI, aircraft dispatcher, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-DB (‘23) graduate. I took my first flight lesson at 13, soloed at 16, got my private at 19, and became a flight instructor at 22. My flight experience spans 16+ makes and models of aircraft, including complex, high-performance, and tailwheel airplanes. I’m a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), and National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI)! When I’m not in the cockpit or classroom, you can find me volunteering with youth aviation immersion programs, planning my next Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or enjoying a good matcha latte.
Instructors
Max Franklin, CFI/CFII
When I was a kid flying on commercial airliners, I remember being fascinated by the view of the world from above. Now, by the grace of God, that view has become my office.
My passion for aviation began at a young age and has continued to grow through years of training and experience. I am dedicated to continually developing as a pilot and instructor through aviation organizations, professional development programs, ongoing training, and the pursuit of additional ratings and endorsements.
When I’m not flying, I enjoy studying Scripture, hosting friends and family for dinner, and gaming.
